We are offering an exciting new course – Magic Mirror. This will allow young people to gain 5.75 GCSE equivalent qualifications, aimed at Level 2 (Grade B A*-C).
This programme is aimed at LACES, non-attendees, excluded students (PRU), transient students and those in Child Protection. During a 20 week programme of 2 days per week they will gain:
- Wider Key Skills (2.25 GCSE equivalents points – 103.5) 10 DAYS
- Certificate of Personal Effectiveness (CoPE) at Level 2 (Total: 1 GCSE equivalent - 46) 8 DAYS
- ALAN (1 GCSE equivalent. Both Literacy and Numeracy – 46 points) 10 DAYS
- Career Planning ((1 GCSE equivalent. 46 points) 6 DAYS
- Life Skills (0.5 GCSE equivalent. 24 points) 6 DAYS
The modules are accessible based on the student’s needs. All previous learning will be assessed and used against the qualifications so they will not have to repeat work already completed.
Working in groups, our dynamic trainers will deliver this exciting new programme to help these young people achieve their potential. Moderation, lunch, prizes, bonuses, and days out are all included.
