We have been working in partnership with awarding body ASDAN and the LSC to create a new tool to assessemployability levels in an individual. The new CD assess’ the user's attitude towards employability areas such as Punctuality, Communication and Problem Solving. Using highly engaging animations with audio and text, the user answers a series of scenarios using a Flash ‘drag and drop’ interface. The user’s answers are recorded along with the time to answer and how indecisive they were. This is all compiled in an easy to use reports section, with graphical and textual analysis. The Readi-Kit is an ideal initial assessment tool when looking to develop a person’s employability.
It has been through initial trials with a variety of training providers, with excellent feedback. A number of dissemination events have been delivered to share the success of the tool. A further development of the software and trial will be taking place soon.
